Patti LaCarter
Patti was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She was blessed to have Christian parents who taught her early about Jesus Christ. At the age of 10 she realized her need for forgiveness of sin and Jesus in her life and on Easter Sunday she received Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior and was baptized. Her life has never been the same.
Patti graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a B.S. in Education. She was a history and geography teacher in a Houston public school for ten years and during the summers participated in mission work in Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Mexico. She was an active member of Houston’s First Baptist church.
On a mission trip in Brazil in 1995 God called her into full-time ministry. By faith, in 1996 she packed her belongings and moved to Brazil where she has been joyfully and faithfully serving the Lord. She currently resides in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro.
